Teodora is a feminist educator and advocate, who is working to promote gender equality and menstrual justice. She is the co-founder of PERIOD Skopje and part of the team at Stella Network, working at the intersection of education, gender equality and health.

Through PERIOD Skopje, she is mainstreaming menstrual health in youth programs, schools and public discourse by redefining menstrual poverty as a public health and education issue. Her activism encourages policy change, mobilizes youth and advocates for all students to have free access to menstruation products. PERIOD Skopje’s work has also contributed to reducing the tax on menstrual products in North Macedonia, earning two national nominations for Best Initiative for Meaningful Youth Engagement, in 2023 and 2025.

At Stella Network, Teodora empowers girls and young women through a national mentoring initiative, fostering leadership and equality in schools across North Macedonia. With over seven years of experience in youth work, peer education and training, she continues to advocate for gender equality, health and well-being locally and globally.

Heela Yoon is a refugee activist, communications strategist, and peacebuilder from Afghanistan. She is the Founder of AYAPO and MUSKA, organisations that have reached over 43,000 families through humanitarian aid and youth-led peacebuilding. MUSKA is a registered organisation and live digital platform using AI to deliver mental health services to refugees and displaced communities.

A Chevening Scholar, Duke University Climate Fellow, and one of 17 UN Young Leaders for the SDGs globally, Heela has spoken at the United Nations, UK Parliament, Buckingham Palace, the Paris Peace Forum, and the World Bank.

Her published research spans women's rights, conflict, and intergenerational peacebuilding. She works with governments, NGOs, and institutions to build advocacy strategies and movements rooted in lived experience.

Born in Miyazaki Prefecture in 1959. He completed his doctoral coursework in French Literature at the Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology, The University of Tokyo. He holds a DEA from Paris Diderot University. After serving as a research associate at the Faculty of Letters, The University of Tokyo, he joined ICU as an assistant professor in 1996. He was a professor from 2009 to 2024 and has served as the president of the university since 2020. His specialization is French literature, and he has translated numerous French plays for the stage. He is a recipient of the 15th Yuasa Yoshiko Prize (play translation category) and the Officier dans l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques. His recent book is "Grass and Shells: Fragments on Words and Literature" (Shunjusha, 2025).

Joined the ICRC in 2019, strengthening cooperation with the government and other relevant authorities as a Humanitarian Affairs Adviser at the Delegation in Japan. She strives to promote the ICRC's activities based on the humanitarian principles of neutrality, impartiality, and independence, as well as to disseminate international humanitarian law. She has been in her current position since June 2023. Prior to the ICRC, she was involved in the field of humanitarian assistance for over 10 years, working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UNHCR, and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). She has also been assigned to Afghanistan, Israel/Palestine, and Myanmar. She holds a master's degree in international relations from Columbia University.

After gaining experience in sales and producer roles at an advertising agency, she transitioned to the PR department of MSF in 2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, fulfilling a childhood dream. She is responsible for planning, producing, and managing events and promotions that convey the humanitarian crises witnessed by internationally dispatched staff in the field to Japanese society. She is currently organizing cross-industry collaboration events.

Social Gallery KYEUM is a cultural collective that explores ways to understand, improve, and engage with social issues related to cities, art, culture, peace, and Asia through cultural approaches. Led by a peace researcher and an architect, the collective collaborates with writers, researchers, civic activists, journalists, and artists from Japan and abroad to organize exhibitions, book talks, study groups, and dialogue salons.

Joined Dentsu as a new graduate, belonging to the Future Creation Group responsible for management and business transformation. He joined TBM in 2016, promoting the social implementation of carbon recycling, which turns CO2 into a resource, and resource circulation businesses. Currently, he oversees policy advocacy, PR, marketing, and human resources, driving the expansion of corporate and business growth. In addition, he serves as a director of the group company Bioworks, a Tokyo Metropolitan Startup Fellow, a committee member of the Cabinet Office, and a core member of public-private partnerships at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, connecting policies and businesses in the GX and startup sectors across public and private sectors.

Born in 2000 in Nagasaki, Japan, Suzuka Nakamura is a third-generation atomic bomb survivor (hibakusha), with her grandmother having experienced the atomic bombing. To expand action beyond the atomic-bombed cities, she founded KNOW NUKES TOKYO, a Tokyo-based initiative dedicated to promoting the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and advancing public engagement in nuclear disarmament. Through organizing exhibitions and facilitating peace education programs, she works toward a peaceful world free of nuclear weapons. In 2025, she joined Borderless Foundation.

Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1980. While studying at Waseda University, he studied business at the University of Washington in the US. After graduating, he worked for MISUMI (now MISUMI Group Inc.) before founding Borderless Japan at the age of 25. As a pioneer of social business solving social issues, he was selected as one of Nikkei Business's "50 Japanese Who Move the World," Forbes JAPAN's "35 Impact Entrepreneurs of Japan," and EY's "Entrepreneur of the Year Japan." Appeared on "Cambrian Palace" in 2020. His TEDx talk "The Value of Life is Not What You Gain, But What You Leave Behind" has exceeded 1.1 million views. In 2021, he published "90% of Social Problems Can Be Solved Through Business" (PHP Institute), which became a bestseller. In December 2024, he established the NPO Borderless Foundation.

Specializes in nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation. Served as a diplomat in Berlin, Vienna, Washington, and Baghdad. From August 2013 to December 2019, she was a Specialist for Arms Control, Disarmament and Non-Proliferation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After leaving the Ministry at the end of 2019, she taught at Osaka Jogakuin University. She has been a Visiting Fellow at the Japan Institute of International Affairs since April 2021. She assumed her current position in April 2024. Since June 2024, she has also served concurrently as Vice Director of the Center for Global Risk Research at Nagasaki University.

Explores the expansion of human creativity through AI from both research and artistic perspectives. In 2025, he launched CEAPP (Council of Economic Acts for Positive Peace) and the PEACETECH AWARD, initiating research into peace-oriented businesses and providing support for startups. Inspired by an encounter with Philip Kotler in Hiroshima, he founded the "Hiroshima Organization for Global Peace + Tokyo Community" in Tokyo in 2019. He also served as a member of the Planning and Management Committee for the World Business Conference for World Peace, Hiroshima 2021.

Additionally, since 2019, he has been involved with a prominent Japanese foundation, supporting research and public awareness initiatives regarding impact investing—a financial approach to solving social issues. Prior to this, he participated in the launch of the Japanese operation of Grameen Bank, a pioneer in social business, serving as its Secretary General. He also possesses over 10 years of comprehensive experience at financial institutions, where he focused on debt finance, covering areas such as sales planning, credit management, and system administration.

He holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University. His areas of expertise are impact investing and social business, and his primary interests regarding social issues are the opportunity gap and peace.

After graduating from university, Kuwahara joined a major domestic financial institution, where he was primarily engaged in launching new businesses (such as the Sports Promotion Lottery) and establishing new departments, including Advertising, Women's Empowerment Projects, CSR, and High-Net-Worth Client Services.

In 2014, he transitioned to the Japan Electrical Safety & Environment Technology Laboratories (JET), Japan's leading testing, inspection, and certification body for electrical products. After serving as Deputy Director of the Kansai Regional Office, he led initiatives in product safety awareness, CSR, and sustainability promotion. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Sustainability Promotion Office, concurrently holding the position of Deputy Director of the Electrical Product Safety Center.

Outside of his primary professional roles, he joined the voluntary organization GCJN (the predecessor to GCNJ) as an Auditor in 2008. Since 2017, he has served as an Organizer for the GCNJ's Internal Integration Research Subcommittee, and since 2019, as the Chair of the GCNJ Subcommittee Promotion Committee.
